This is one of the firsts books on Flamenco Guitar I ever used.  It is still one of my favorites.  It is spiral bound so that it can lay flat on your music stand.  This is a big convenience that so many other guitar books overlook.  It is written in both Spanish and English.  It was great because when I was learning from this book I was also studying Spanish in school.  It starts with some basic music and flamenco concepts.  Then it covers rudimentary finger exercises and techniques.   After that it just goes into songs.  The first songs are really easy but they also sound good.  Then the songs get more difficult as you go through the book.  The  notation and tab are printed on separate pages for each song.  This is great if your learning to read music and you don’t want tab to be a crutch.  A CD is included so you can hear how everything should sound.
